Tennis Club

The function of the club is to promote and assist in the management and playing activities of the school's tennis facilities. The College and Primary are fortunate to have floodlit courts which are available for the use of the school community. Courts can also be hired on an hourly basis.

  • Available for all Students and a Parent/Adult from Year 6 - 12 (older students will be given 1st. preference)
  • A minimum of 8 players will be required each week to make the night viable.
  • Maximum numbers approximately 20  
  • Tennis draws, and format will be organised at 5:00pm sharp
  • Cost: Tennis $6 per player ….(ALL playing fees go towards school facilities)

Organising requirements

One parent is required each week to supervise from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and to lock the tennis facilities. Parents will be rostered to supervise on a rotation basis. Mr Greig will always be in attendance to commence proceedings and explain lock up details.

Come along and have a game with your family or friends. See Mr Greig at the tennis courts any afternoon after school to book in, or phone.

Playing nights include:

Monday coaching night 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm includes coaching and hitting on the ball machine with playing.

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7.00 pm to 9.30/10.00 pm social fixtures. Played in a pairs or teams format depending on popular opinion.
  • Friday night teenage social doubles challenge 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
  • Saturday morning 8.00 am to 10.00 am junior fixtures for players starting their first fixture season.
  • Saturday evening family nights 5.00 /6.00 pm to 8.00 /9.00 pm organised on demand of popularity.

Our official school coaching programs are run by our appointed coaches John and Trish Greig (Advanced and Level 3 members of the TCA). John and Trish have had over 40 years coaching experience ranging from pre-school beginner and multi-skill activities through to touring at international level with teams and individuals. Their experience has been invaluable to our school establishing a complete coaching program before and after school for beginners through to advanced aspiring circuit players.
