AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE – WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM
The Defence Work Experience Program (DWEP) is a national Youth Program that provides young Australians with an interest in a Defence career, the opportunity to gain exposure to a range of job roles available within Defence and the Australian Public Service. Defence work experience activities are designed to be hands on and interactive so that young people can make informed career decisions.

The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) offers world-class degrees in Business, Engineering, Computing, Arts and Science. ERGON ENERGY NETWORK
Ergon Energy Network and Energex would like to invite students to attend the 2023 Girl Power WebEx Session. Students can choose to attend one of the two sessions on offer.

The Program
The Girl Power Program is designed for girls currently completing Grade 10 to 12 and would include:
- Information on the trades/apprenticeships that Ergon Energy Network/Energex offer
- Opportunity to hear from Female Apprentices and Tradespeople
- Overview of the recruitment process
- Opportunity to complete relevant testing and Work Experience in Term 2 if interested in progressing with the 2024 Apprentice Recruitment (this would be open to Year 12 girls)
JW Marriott & Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort SAT'S
An information session is being held for students interested in gaining a school-based traineeship/apprenticeship at JW Marriott or Sheraton Mirage. Successful students will rotate throughout the property to ensure a full experience in the hospitality industry. Ares include:

School-Based Traineeship opportunities are managed through the Careers Centre. Now is the perfect time for Year 10-11 Non-ATAR students to consider securing a position which provides paid employment, hands-on work experience and a certificate qualification upon completion.
