Senior Years (10-12)

The Senior Years are where the journey deepens. It's a time when students begin to see their future with clearer eyes and step with growing confidence into who they are becoming. At Marymount College, Years 10–12 are shaped by purpose, possibility and the steady belief that every young person is capable of extraordinary things. These are the years when curiosity sharpens, pathways emerge and students learn to stand tall in their own story.

Year 10 - A Year of Becoming

Year 10 is the bridge between childhood and young adulthood - a year of stretching, choosing and discovering. Students build on strong foundations in Religious Education, English, History, PE, Mathematics and Science, while exploring a broad range of electives that help them uncover their strengths and shape their direction for Senior School.

Guided by the Learning Framework of Brisbane Catholic Education, Year 10 encourages students to become reflective, self‑directed learners.

Years 11 & 12 - Stepping Into the Future

The Senior Years are a defining chapter. Students enter Year 11 with a growing sense of who they are and what inspires them, even if their final destination is still taking shape. With the right subject choices, a positive study plan and the support of teachers who know them well, they learn to work with purpose, resilience and pride. These years bring challenge and reward. Consistent effort leads toward meaningful milestones: the Senior Statement, the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and the opening of pathways into further study, training and future careers.
