Music fills our campus with energy and expression. Whether in ensembles, bands or solo performance, students find their voice, build confidence and experience the thrill of creating something beautiful together.
Instrumental Music Program
Tuition
Students can learn Voice, Piano/Keyboard, Guitar, Woodwind, Brass, Percussion and Music Theory through our Instrumental Music Program. Tuition includes both classical and contemporary pathways, with optional examinations offered through AMEB, Guild, Trinity College Rock School and Trinity College (Voice). Students may also follow an individualised program without sitting formal exams.

Ensembles
Ensemble rehearsals give students the chance to refine technique, develop ensemble skills and experience the joy of performing together. Participation builds confidence, creativity, non‑verbal communication and stagecraft in a supportive, structured environment.
Ensembles offered in 2026:
- Stage Band
- Vocal Ensemble
- Rock Bands (by year level)
- Funk Band (senior/experienced students via audition)
- String Ensemble

Students must re‑enrol for ensembles at the start of each year.
Bursaries
Music bursaries recognise students who demonstrate strong musical ability, commitment and a willingness to contribute to the College's Music Department. Recipients are expected to maintain consistent practice, attend all rehearsals and performances, and uphold exemplary behaviour.
- Full Bursary: Covers the cost of private lessons on one instrument for the remainder of the year
- Half Bursary: Covers half the cost of private lessons on one instrument for the remainder of the year
Bursaries do not cover ensemble fees and are valid for the current year only. Students must reapply annually.
