School Secretary

The successful applicant will:
have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education; currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a School Secretary for a permanent position beginning in Term 3 2018. 
Experience in a school environment is highly desirable. 
Ideal applicants will demonstrate high level:


  • Administrative, keyboard and telephone skills 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Understanding, knowledge and adaptability with enterprise software systems such as : eMinerva, Senior Data Capture Systems, Student Reporting System, Subject Selection Online, Parent Teacher Online, QCAA Portal Administration Systems. 
  • Microsoft Excel skills to create spreadsheets using raw data and extracted data from systems software. 
  • Capacity to work independently, with initiative to complete work to expectations on tight timelines 
  • Flexibility and understanding as part of a team in a busy office environment.

Estimated Start Date:   Commencing Term 3 2018

Position Tenure:   Continuing

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks - plus additional hours/weeks as negotiated

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):  

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   30.4 hours

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 4

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

English, Humanities, Religion Teacher
The successful applicant will:

have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We require an experienced secondary English, History, Religious Education teacher for a full-time continuing position. Successful applicants must be accredited to teach Religion in a Catholic school.
