At Marymount I studied English, Maths, Logic, Modern History and Chemistry. I got involved in anything and everything from school drama to debating to tennis!
Since leaving school I studied law at QUT and then did my Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne. I worked as an employment lawyer helping workers stand up for their rights as well as protecting women from harassment at work. Then I got into politics, where I’ve been lucky enough to serve as Queensland’s Attorney-General, Minister for Women and Minister for Health.
My advice is to say “yes” to new opportunities, work hard and make time to enjoy school life too. It goes faster than you think!
