Girls Cricket

In 2021 we were able to field a Senior Girls Cricket team in the Queensland Secondary Schools T20 Challenge competition. The girls won their first game against Trinity College, Beenleigh before being beaten against a very strong Fairholme College. The highlight of the girl's campaign was Year 10 student, Emily Sheather, scoring 103 not out against Trinity College. Emily hit 13 sixes and 6 sixes with her hundred coming off 33 balls. We believe this was the first hundred scored by a Marymount College student in any form of cricket!

Boys Cricket

The Junior and Senior Boys cricket teams both ventured to All Saints Anglican School for the first round of their T20 Challenge. Unfortunately, both teams went down on the day and weren’t able to progress through. Strong bowling performances from Tai Hayes, Aidan Bulkely and Max Hudson kept their teams in the game, whilst, Taz Kerr, James Kirk and Joel Lorch showed they will be ones to watch with the bat in the coming years!
