Second-hand Uniforms

Second-hand Uniforms will not be available from Ranier. However, parents can buy and sell preowned uniforms via the Sustainable School Shop website or donate items to the school for emergencies.

Texthire and stationery

At the end of this year, College Texthire will move into the AV Room in the College Library. We are pleased to announce our engagement with Box of Books to provide digital and physical education resources for the 2023 academic year. Students will have access to digital textbook resources from the first day of Term 1 via their Box of Books account. This arrangement should reduce the weight of school bags.

Stationery items will not be available at school after Thursday, 6 October. Back-to-school stationery resources will be available to purchase from the online Box of Books shop in Term 4.

Students need to have a uniform that they are comfortable wearing, that represents the College well, and that they wear with pride. These updates to college uniforms will meet these requirements.

Second-hand Uniform online shop

Marymount College is conscious of the need to provide an efficient process for families to be able to buy and sell pre-loved uniforms and other student resources.

We are pleased to inform you of the school’s new initiative to provide parents with the ability to trade these second-hand items via the Sustainable School Shop website. www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au

Results from other schools have been excellent; families have enjoyed a more comprehensive and convenient method of trading items on this easily accessible platform, available all year round.

How it works:
  • Register on the Sustainable School Shop website
  • List your items for sale
  • List wanted ads for those items you are looking to buy
  • The College’s uniform list is loaded into the system to make listing ads easy
  • The system matches the ads of buyers with sellers and notifies the buyer via email
  • Buyers contact sellers and arrange where and when to trade
  • The system provides an up-to-date stock listing
  • Parents are well supported via Sustainable School Shop’s telephone (0438 743 444) and email helplines
  • The system is simple and easy to use - If you don’t have a computer, internet access or an email address, please call the Sustainable School Shop for assistance.

Marymount College is providing this service to our community: when registering on the Sustainable School Shop, you need to nominate the school to receive your subscription.

All enquiries should be directed to the Sustainable School Shop on 0438 743 444. Help is also available through ‘Contact Us’ on their website at www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au
We are very excited about this new initiative being offered to parents, and we hope you will make the most of the opportunity to recycle your student’s school items annually.
